Do you go through periods where you are very critical of your own work? I feel like I'm doing that now. And in some ways it is a good thing, I think it's helping me identify what I like and want to keep doing. It is also helping me experiment too. But, it is also very frustrating and I have the temptation to tear apart every layout I make apart and start over, which kind of sucks. Happy Thursday to you! Until tomorrow.

it's really cute!
you reminded me to get out the baby pool we have soon! love the card- and yes, I think we all get critical of the work we do, but I do think it pushes us.
cute card. i try with all of my heart to not criticize or compare myself to others. yes, sometimes, it's hard, but i really truly try to keep the focus on what it's really all about. And that in 50 years, my girls won't be focusing on whether a page is "perfect" but the story behind it. xo
Good morning!
Have fun with the baby pool, and make sure you stick your feet in too.
I do struggle with "comparison" issues, not only in scrapping but life. Hang in there.
Nothing worse than that feeling of "not quite right". I hate that. But it's really all about perspective...as you already know. You are one talented lady. Hang tough and keep doing what you are doing...using this as a way of improving your skills and your view!
nothing wrong with feeling critical of your stuff...you're right, it's how your style develops & grows. but you can always just send me a scan and i guarantee i will have good things to say. :) because you do good stuff, girly.
CUTE card girl!!!!
Try not to compare yourself... it you want an excellent book to read "I thought it was just me" by Brene Brown. I'm working through it now...
Such a cute card Danielle.
Hope J gets to try out his new pool soon ;o)
xxx
Yes, I do have that feeling. I'm VERY critical of myself... but I always have been. I'm a perfectionist, and I seriously want to be good at everything I set my mind to. LOL. Sometimes that gets very frustrating... especially in the creative arena. I'm growing though. :)
And I'm trying lots of new things, which is good for me too.
Love this card. And don't doubt yourself. You're wonderful. :)
