Unfortunately today the phrase, "for the love of paper" refers to Kleenex. I fell asleep in my son's room last night at 7:30pm and dh came to get me at 10pm. I almost never do that, unless of course I'm really sick. J seems to be better, his nose is dried up at least. I'm hoping this is the last day of illness for me too. Ick.
Cleaned up the upstairs today, including the scraproom. I have my paper separated into two piles-one for the RAK (current stuff) and the other one (not current stuff). I have no idea what to do with the second box. I'll figure that out later. I have to get the embellishments and separate those too. So almost there. I wanted to alert you that The Scrap Review is giving away some A kiss on the Chic kits.
I really needed to make my mom a birthday card last night. It seems like her birthday always sneaks up on me. I don't have an Easter basket for J either, but I did get this super cute egg dying kit at Giant (while I was in there to get diapers, Kleenex and children's Tylenol):
I just love the faces. I can't believe Easter is this weekend. . .
Do you ever feel like you just can't go fast enough? Sometimes I feel like I am in a dream sequence and I just can't go fast enough with everything--cleaning, cooking, etc. I keep telling myself to cherish the doing a little more and the getting-it done a little less. The title of the post is a song I heard yesterday on the radio, and for some reason, that's exactly how I felt, irritated probably from the fever, but also frustrated with myself that I just can't do more. More for my family, my dog, my friends, my community, my house, more for myself even. Do you ever feel that way?
And I thought this was funny. J gets very excited when boxes are delivered to the house, and goes and points to the scissors in the drawer and wants them opened immediately. So one was delivered yesterday and dh said to J trying to talk him out of opening it, "It's for mommy, it's nothing good, just paper and stickers probably." I yelled from the kitchen that I begged to differ. I mean, what's better than that? Happy Wednesday to you!

I know exactly how you feel....way too much to do, too little time, and then trying to sleep sometimes too. I really hope you start to feel better too. Happy Easter!
Time is flying any more faster and faster! I swear it was just the girls' birthdays( Feb) now it is Easter? Where did March go? I'm not sure we had one...
I hope you are feeling MUCH better. I hate having a runny nose. it is just, well GROSS!
Well, you certainly sound upbeat for someone who was sick! And you cleaned!
My kids get bummed about scrappy deliveries too. I just smile and run to open my boxes behind closed doors, lol.
Sorry you're under the weather. Never fun, but I'm impressed like Dav that you cleaned! Wow! I'm with you on how fast the year is going. Feel better!
Yeah...I feel ya! Hope you get to feeling better though...sickies are no fun...
So sorry you aren't feeling well, I hope you get better soon! And yes, I feel like I can't go fast enough...can't get it all done. None of us can do it all, we just need to be careful what we do pick to get done. :) Make sure it is important. Have a great day!
KWIM - can't believe it is Spring already. Feel like I was just pulling Winter sweaters out - oh wait - I was!!
I so know what you mean about feeling you're never doing enough. I think we put so much pressure on ourselves to "get everything done." Ugh. Hope you are feeling better soon!
Just wait til he is 21 and you will be wondering what happened. Happy egg coloring, and have a great weekend.
