Blah

I've got a serious case of the blahs this week. I'm not motivated to do much, maybe it is the rainy weather. So, I'm not teasing you about the RAK, I just need the weekend to get it together. And I mean that in every way, shape and form.

I'm a little worried, I got bite by a tick. I found it yesterday when I got out of the shower. It's just one of the many perks of being a good mom and taking my ds to play outside everyday instead of letting him watch tv. It was tiny, I thought it was a mole at first. I don't see the tale tell signs of a target lesion yet, so I'm hoping it's all good. That's one of the bad things about being a medical person. I know every single thing that could go wrong. It's really not a good thing when you are trying not to worry.

Since I feel ick, I made a card today with more of the Basic Grey Boxer for Memorable Seasons (more DT work):

This one is a mother's day card I made at the NSD crop last weekend:

In the name of mother's day, I asked dh for scrapping supplies instead of flowers. They last longer and are more fun. I ordered Studio Calico's May Kit Newsstand, to see if I like it. I've never tried a kit club before, always felt like I could do a better and more cost effective job of shopping myself. However, I am finding that I just don't have the time to do that. And with no LSS, I just can't get a feel for things on the net sight unseen. So, I'm going to try this out this month and see. My kit shipped the same day I ordered and I should have it within the next 2 days, amazing customer service so far.

Thank you all for your comments on the blog overhaul. I'm getting used to it.
Have a great mother's day all you moms!

I hope that the tick bite doesn't turn out to be anything to worry about. Scary.
